What is a Giclée Print?

All prints available are giclée prints, commonly known as archival pigment prints.

Giclée is a fine art printing method using specialist archival pigment inks on acid-free papers resulting in gallery-quality inkjet prints which are widely accepted by art-buyers, galleries and museums as archival collectable pieces. With advanced depth of colour, giclée prints have been proven to outlast a lithographic print and other technologies by up to six times.

Prints are printed on 310gsm heavyweight paper. The print also uses premium matt inkjet coating which meets the highest industry standards regarding density, colour gamut, colour graduation and image sharpness while preserving the special touch and feel of genuine art paper. The print will have a 4mm margin to allow for easy framing.

Looking after your Giclée Print

Handle artwork as you would with an original ensuring you have dry, clean hands. Avoid touching the ink, holding the print by its edges.

We recommend the artwork is framed using acid-free materials for mounts and backing, as this will add to the life of the print. Always display your print away from direct sunlight and humid spaces.
